PROFILE Regarded as one of New Zealand’s foremost fashion brands, Cybčle, created by designer Cybčle Wiren, is perhaps best described as, “providing thinking women with clothes that are in equal measures original, clever, pretty, sexy and very much of the moment.” Cybčle's style is youthful and directional, feminine with a bold graphic edge. Not distracted by obvious trends, each cohesive and multi-faceted collection is defined by distinctive custom prints designed in-house, innovative cuts and a striking use of pattern. Collections are presented each year as part of Air New Zealand Fashion Week and in showrooms in Auckland, Sydney and Tokyo. The label has additionally presented in Sydney in 2006 and 2007 and in Tokyo in 2007. Cybčle was awarded the Air New Zealand Export Award at Air New Zealand Fashion Week 2008 and in 2007, she was a finalist in the Bayer Innovators Awards, held in association with The National Business Review. The label has been worn by Lily Allen, The Veronicas, Japanese stars Chiaki Kuriyama (Kill Bill Vol I) and Ai and pieces are regularly featured in titles from NZ and farther afield.
