Viva published a really interesting article a few weeks ago about the fabrics behind the New Zealand Fashion Industry. It looked into the degree of exclusivity there can be in the NZ market, how that has led to different designers releasing garments in the same fabrics and what some designers are doing to distinguish themselves. Cybele was recognised for her custom in house graphic designs and exclusive prints with the Water Print and Volcano print being representative of her innovative and original design aesthetic and inimitability. These prints appeared again in Apparel Magazines line up of winter trends and there are a few left in stores. We hope you're keeping warm and dry this wet and windy Winter. xx
